The Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Physiology offers accelerated research training leading to the Ph.D. degree. Our aim is to expedite progress towards a degree for highly focused/trained individuals.

  • Program begins in January with laboratory research rotations
  • Two to three rotations will be completed during spring semester with supervision of a mentoring committee to ensure adequate research progress
  • Students start thesis research during the summer before formal classes commence in the fall semester with an emphasis towards the individual student’s research interest
  • $23,000 Annual Stipend and Tuition Scholarship
  • Medical coverage paid by the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics
  • Housing is available near campus; must be secured by participant and paid by participant
