Primary Focus

           Our research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of photoransduction in rod and cone photoreceptor cells. We are particularly interested in understanding structure-function and signaling mechanisms of the visual G protein transducin and effector enzyme cGMP-phosphodiesterase 6 (PDE6).
